KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE FROM THE FLU

A flu shot is the best protection for you and your family against the influenza virus. Influenza (flu) is caused by a virus that infects the nose, throat, and lungs. When an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, he or she can spread the flu to other people.  The shot helps protect you and your family from catching the virus.

You can first talk with your own doctor’s office on how they will be distributing flu shot.

There are also several opportunities to obtain a flu shot in Muskegon County at public flu shot clinics provided by Visiting Nurses. In addition, several local pharmacies will also be providing flu clinics and most are listed at their locations, websites, or you can call them.
